£10.00 – £70.00
Make your own .999 PURE SILVER ring at one of our half-day classes!
HOSTED BY: Art Clay SW, St Marys Yard, Brixham
Held at our studio in Brixham, Devon, this relaxed class will show you how to use Art Clay Silver to make EITHER: a band ring with raised silver decoration or a ring with a focal cubic zirconia/glass gemstone
In this 4.5 hour class you’ll have a basic introduction to the material, tools and processes, followed by some time to practice and finalise your design before getting started on “the real thing”
* A space on the course for 1 person at our studio in Brixham
* 7g silver clay (depending on your ring size & design), materials and use of tools to make your piece
* Firing of your creation in a kiln
* Tea, coffee and sweet treats whilst you work
At the end of the class you’ll take home a piece of unique FINE SILVER jewellery, crafted by your own fair hands!
If you have done my part 1 class, or another intro course, you might like to develop your skills a little further… You will get more out of the class if you have some metal clay experience, but it is not beyond the reach of a beginner with art or craft experience – please feel free to contact me if you have any questions prior to booking.

More Info
Making silver jewellery doesn’t have to be difficult… if you can roll out pastry, use a biscuit cutter or a craft knife you can use metal clay!
* Easy * Social * Fun * Eco-friendly *
Don’t worry if you’re “not creative”, I’m here to support you and guide you through the process – I also have books and samples for inspiration too.
This is an exciting method in the history of jewellery making – I call it the “friendly” alternative to traditional silversmithing. Many other skills cross over to metal clay projects (pottery, sugar craft, decoupage etc.) – making it accessible to hobbyists and craftspeople alike… so go on, give it a go!
